Moni Wins Prestigious J.D. Power Customer Satisfaction Award

We’ve spent a lot of time talking about our three brand pillars: Faster Response, Comprehensive Security, and Customer Intimacy. As part of our new brand identity, we’re working particularly hard in our Customer Care department, making our customers’ experience excellent every time. After months of hard work, it’s hard not to notice.

This week, J.D. Power released the results of their in-depth study on the importance of Customer Service for home security companies, and MONI came out on top! We ranked highest in overall customer satisfaction, performing particularly well in six of the 12 factors:

  • Reliability of the system
  • System installation and setup
  • Ease of using the system
  • Clarity of owner’s manual
  • Effectiveness of securing my home
  • Speed of monitoring response

Lower ranked competitors included STANLEY Security, Vivint, Comcast (Xfinity), ADT and Protection 1.


2014 Bronze Stevie® Award: Alarm Response Center

ProTECHt’s alarm response services are supported by Moni. Moni won this award in 2013 for superior service at the alarm response center. ProTECHt customers know that they will be getting the best customer service in the event that their alarm sounds.


2014 Bronze Stevie® Award American Business Award

Combining the efforts of several key disciplines, Moni’s Customer Experience Department won a Bronze American Business Award for Support Department of the Year. The team takes a pivotal role in enabling the organization to consistently deliver exceptional service to over 1 million homes and businesses. Comprised of less than 15 people, the Customer Experience Department is one of the strongest and most functionally diverse in both the organization and the industry.

ProTECHt’s alarm monitoring is also provided by Moni. All operators are required to go through an intense training to earn their certification. The Five Diamond award is given to alarm monitoring response centers that are committed to vigilance and customer service. Less than 3% of alarm monitoring companies in the nation earn this certification.


Rating: Better Business Bureau

ProTECHt and Moni is accredited with the Better Business Bureau, a trusted consumer resource that reviews and rates businesses based on customer service and ethical marketplace behavior.

Installation Quality Certification

Moni has achieved Installation Quality Certification, which is given to security companies that abide by high standards of design, installation, monitoring and customer education. This certification requires annual renewal, so our customers can remain confident that they are getting the best installation quality, year after year.


Police Dispatch Quality Award

Moni was honored to be recognized by the Security Industry Alarm Coalition (SIAC) and the False Alarm Reduction Association (FARA) as the company that best demonstrated proactive and innovative false alarm strategies in 2013 with the Annual Police Dispatch Quality (PDQ) Award. Moni has worked diligently to reduce the number of police dispatch requests, while providing an exceptional experience for customers and building positive and beneficial partnerships with local law enforcement and emergency personnel throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.


2014 Frost & Sullivan North American Customer Value Leadership Award in Residential Security Services

Moni is a five-time F&S award winner (2008, 2010, 2011, 2013 & 2014). Each year, Frost & Sullivan presents this award to the company that has demonstrated great growth strategies and implementation. Industry analysts compare market participants and measure performance through in-depth interviews, analysis, and extensive secondary research in order to identify best practices in the industry.


The Dallas Morning News’ Top 100 Places to Work List

In 2013, Moni made The Dallas Morning News’ list of “Top 100 Places to Work” in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for the third consecutive year. Any organization with at least 50 employees in North Texas can enter the competition. To be eligible for a Top 100 ranking, at least 35 percent of a company’s employees must respond to a confidential questionnaire analyzed by Workplace Dynamics. Anonymous responses from 69,673 DFW employees decided the 2013 rankings. Moni also made the list in 2011 and 2012.
